Douglas Campbell (1896-1990) earned his Harvard AB 1917. He was a member of the Harvard Regiment which was formed in 1916 "to impart military training and knowledge to its members ... with a view to preparing its members for the duties of junior officers of the Army in the event of war." He later became an aviator. Photocopied segments of letters from Campbell to his parents describing Regiment activities in which he participated.
